A sublime first release for the Dutch label Laidback Electronica. Five tracks of brooding, atmospheric IDM/ambient fusion. Lurching beats and deft micro-rhythms, smooth pads and washed out basslines -- overall there's a sense of space here. Quite possibly one of the coolest EPs I've heard this year.
